You've been intimidated by it since you were a kid. And it feels like the worst thing that could happen. But life sometimes surprises us. And the most desperate situations are resolved in the most unexpected ways. The stories of our heroes are direct proof of that.
♫ One in a million
The worst thing that can happen to a young girl is an unwanted pregnancy. That's what parents, teachers, psychologists and popular online media tell us from morning till night. And let's not hide it from you, we're not crazy about some people becoming parents at 15 either. But life happens all kinds of things. Is an early pregnancy always a lifelong sentence or is it worth rushing to an abortion after seeing two lines on the test?? You're gonna have to answer those questions yourself. But first, read our heroine's story.
Pasha and Ira went to school together at first, Pasha was a grade older than him. They've liked each other for a long time, but have been hesitant to admit it for a long time. When Pasha was in grade 10 and Ira was in grade 9, they often met during breaks in the school hallway and sort of accidentally bumped into each other with their shoulders or hands without even turning around. Because at first Ira was afraid to look at Pasha. And if she caught him looking at her, she would immediately blush and immediately turn away. But you can't hide a secret in a bag, and their mutual sympathy became an object of teasing at school. No, not bad jokes, but good kind jokes. Everyone, from first to last grade, knew that Pasha and Ira had feelings for each other, and they did not even say hello when they met, it was so awkward for them. In the end, his friends decided to help the humble. For New Year's Eve at school it was decided to put on a play based on one of the classics. It was no accident that Pasha and Ira got the lead roles in this epic performance. So finally our heroes began to communicate with each other, and very soon they were seen together. After school they sat for hours on the bench behind the school, holding hands, and chatted cheerfully about everything in sight. Time just flew by. At first it was easy, innocent, and harmless. The kids reveled in each other's company, read books together, went to the movies, and spent hours wandering the alleys of the nearby park. Ira helped Pasha to prepare for his USE, and Pasha did her homework. In short, it was pure, untainted mimicry. And then, as always unexpectedly, summer came. Ira was taken away to stay with her grandmother for the whole three months, and Pasha stayed in town to enroll in the program. The boys met in the fall after a long separation. Pasha was already a first-year student at the Department of Television Journalism, and Ira was still a schoolgirl from the graduate school. The meeting was fiery. It turned out that over the summer the guys not only hadn't forgotten each other, but they had fallen even more in love. In general, everything happened literally in the first meeting. Well, you know us. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.
They were so infatuated with each other that they forgot all about how babies come into being.
And in vain. After a few weeks Ira realized that something was wrong with her… Of course, she did not immediately notice the change. First of all, she didn't have time for that. Love, you know, takes a lot of time and energy. Secondly, Ira's cycle was not very regular as it was, so she did not pay attention to the slight delay. And only when my belly began to twist and pull, Ira remembered that something has long since not been that should be, and went to the drugstore for a test. The two stripes came as a real shock to the boys. Ira cried for a week, and then was determined to have no baby, and began to scour the Internet in search of the most affordable clinic. Pasha couldn't understand what was going on. Don't think he didn't care, it just happened so suddenly and so fast that he sort of paused and struggled to think. The guys were united in one thing: not a word to his parents! But by some incredibly happy chance Irina's mom saw the website of the clinic on her laptop screen. The conversation that followed was not an easy one. But my mother was a wise woman and loved her daughter very much, so the family council decided that Ira will give birth. And at the same time the guys would inform Pasha's parents about what had happened. Papa's mom and dad were also quite surprised (although we, personally, do not understand why they are all so surprised?), but they took the news rather positively. They got to know each other, became friends, and began to decide where and how Ira and Pasha and their child would live, whether to continue their education, who would support the young family… Let's not hide, at first the guys had a very hard time. In fact, in addition to taking care of their child, they had to study and work. And they also really wanted to go for a walk, go to the movies, and hang out with friends.
When you're 17-19 years old, it's not easy to take on that kind of responsibility.
Parents, of course, helped Pasha and Ira, but their position was originally this: if you decide that you're adults, then you take responsibility for your actions on their own. Let's not bore you with this story with a good ending: Pasha and Ira graduated from college, got married, and now they have three children. Pasha became a big-time cameraman, and Ira chose her career over taking care of the kids. During the ten years they have been together they have been through many things, but they do agree on one thing, they are happy and sure that ten years ago they made the right decision. This story is a little like a fairy tale, but-and there's nothing we can do about that-it's totally real. We realize that happy endings to teen pregnancy stories are rare, maybe one in a million. And we're not urging you to get pregnant right away from the first guy you meet, but to reiterate: if you've decided to have sex, use protection!!!
At the first desk
September 1st is always exciting. Especially the first time you go to college. A bunch of strangers, a new learning system – it was all so exciting and interesting. From excitement Katya almost did not sleep the night before the first day of school. How will they receive her classmates? Would there be any cute ones among them?? How to Behave in Lectures? All these important questions swirled around in her head like an endless whirlwind, keeping her from sleeping a wink. The reality exceeded all expectations. All day long Katya tried to act at ease and memorize all the new information that was bombarding her with tons of it at every class. It wasn't easy. Considering that there were five pairs at once. At the last one they announced that there would be a seminar tomorrow and that I should bring a thick, checked notebook. In the morning Katya was very angry about everything: about fate, about this foolish institute, about the planet Earth, where there are only 24 hours in a day, and even about the unknown master, who had to conduct the hateful seminar. But when she entered the class, she suddenly changed her mind: the professor was young and very handsome.
Katya sat with her mouth hanging open, staring at Igor Petrovich for the entire seminar, and she remembered absolutely nothing.
"No," she thought, "that's all we need! It could happen to anyone, but not to me. I just could not fall in love with the teacher. But, nevertheless, the next week she sat in the auditorium 20 minutes before the beginning of the seminar. And, of course, in the front row. Igor Petrovich was seven minutes late and didn't pay any attention to Katya. It was a shame. And then she made a decision: regardless of the fact that the romance between a professor and a student – it is not very right, this handsome man will be with her. Now all Katya's energies were spent fighting for Igor Petrovich's heart. There was practically no time left for study, and Katya even nearly failed her winter session. The classmates quickly realized what was going on, and began to make fun of her tormented lover. But Katya didn't give up. For a year Igor Petrovich paid no attention to her, and she was terribly tormented. And then the course he was teaching ended and the pairs they met in disappeared from the schedule. Katya's been depressed for a long time. Nothing pleased her: neither the amorous glances of her classmates, nor the new and interesting subjects, nor the prospect of finding some more suitable subject for the affections, so insistently proposed by her friends. You probably already guessed that for a year of active pursuit Katya found out everything about Igor Petrovich: his age, height, weight, marital status, phone number, address, and, of course, his account on "VKontakte. So after agonizing for a month, she decided on a desperate move, came up with a question on the subject of his course, and wrote a message. The half an hour that Igor Petrovich answered was the longest in Katya's life. And at that moment, when she was already in despair, the answer finally came. From there, everything developed surprisingly quickly. It turns out that Igor Petrovich also at first sight liked this skinny blond student. But the ethics of teaching did not allow him to show his sympathy, because he was a serious young man, and in general, the hope of the whole department.
But after teaching Katya's class was over, he found it possible to no longer hide his feelings. Especially when it turned out they were more than mutual.
At first the lovers hid their relationship at the institute, but towards the end of the fourth year, when Igor and Katya got married, it was impossible to hide it any longer. And why?? After all, they were now officially man and wife. By the way, the story of Igor and Katya are not the only one of its kind. Romances between a teacher and a student happen all the time. True, few of them develop into something more. And yes, it was about the institute, and only about it. So forget about your historian. ♪ Yeah, yeah, we're talking to you ♪!
Pharmacy difficulties
Nastya had already seen all of this once in a standup comedy. There, the two teens prepared for a long time, repeating the word out loud, and then looking through the pharmacy window and chorally blurting out "prednisolone" instead of "condom.". It looked funny on TV, and Nastia thought to herself, "What fools they are! It's so easy.". The truth is, the problems started much earlier. It didn't take long for the condoms to arrive. Because when one day Nastia needed to buy pads for the first time, she realized she couldn't bring herself to even go to the counter with them. She walked around for half an hour, stopping at other racks and casting quick glances at colorful packages, but still did not dare to buy anything. Returning home with nothing, Nastia cried into her pillow for a long time and scolded herself for her stupidity and lack of courage. She told no one about her failure, not even her mother. Just asked my mom to go in the next day to get pads instead. This went on for some time. Nastya would go into the store, approaching the cherished rack, but at the last moment she would pass by, pretending that she didn't even need the laundry detergent at all. Or cat food. During this period, Nastya bought a lot of interesting and, most importantly, necessary things. We had to do something urgently. It couldn't go on like this. So Nastia mustered up the courage to tell her best friend about her problem.
Together with Anya, they came up with a cunning plan to buy what "can't be called.". Nastia had to fill the cart with groceries first, then quickly run over to the counter with pads, put a couple in the cart, and cover the pasta on top.
All this, of course, with Anya. At first everything went well, right up to the moment when Nastia had to put all her purchases on the tape in front of the cash register. At the back of the line was a young guy. And it seemed to Nastia that he was staring at the pads on purpose, mocking her. She had never felt so horrible. I think she blushed from head to toe. Nastia was too embarrassed to get the right bill out of her purse and had to collect the purchases in the bag for half an hour after that. Pads, of course, fell right under the feet of a cute neighbor in line. He leaned over, picked them up, and with a polite smile handed them to Nastia. "This is the end!" she thought to herself. She even stopped breathing. Anya had to take the pack herself, put it in the bag and say thank you. Strange as it may seem, this incident had a positive effect. Of course, Nastia was still shy about buying pads for a long time. There was no talk at all about pharmacies, where you have to name the item to the salesperson. Anya often had to go to the store with her friend. But gradually it got easier and easier, and in a year Nastya was surprised to notice that she had bought a fresh pack and didn't even pay attention to it.
She's never been more embarrassed about anything. Yes, yes!
