Have you ever had afriend jealous of you? If you had her, didn't you perhaps find this way of her behaving a bit "unfair" or "senseless"?
I guess so, because actually from a male perspective the mechanisms of jealousy between friends do not make much sense.
From a female point of view on the other hand, jealousy towards a friend is something quite common.
Let's start with an assumption though: usually a girl is jealous of a friend if that friend is one of hers satellite.
Not only if it is a satellite, but in most cases it is so.
What is a satellite?
He's a guy who likes a friend, and the friendship between the two goes on for a long time too, but he always hopes for something more.
In other words: a satellite is a man in the friendship zone with a woman.
There are friendships that go on like this for years, and then when he finds a girl, or goes out with one or tries to, the friend gets jealous.
I've even seen female friends who, in addition to being jealous, came out to their friend thinking they were in love! And they didn't pretend, they actually convinced themselves that they felt something beyond friendship.
And what happens when a satellite finally sees their dream come true? Obviously it is fionda to give again loads of attentions to the own friend and PUF, like for magic the interest of her vanishes and all returns like before.
But what is the true cause of this behavior?
Soon said: the need for attention, as I explain in the article: "Need for attention: the trap of some women".
A woman has constantly in need of attention and often, especially if it is beautiful, receives from her satellites. But then, when the satellites find themselves a woman, the attention decreases dramatically and she obviously acts to get them back.
This action can range from simply showing jealousy (in most cases), to a full-blown "declaration of love" in the most extreme cases.
Fabrizio in his comment he gives a classic example of this:
Hi Reborn, last year I felt terrible for the classic friend I had always been in love with and for whom I had been in the friend zone for a million years. I later tried to put a stop to it by not seeing her anymore. Not that I didn't love her anymore, because we had known each other for many years, but I simply needed a change of air. Around February I kissed a girl in a club, and there were also some of her friends present. The next day she "casually" contacted me after we hadn't spoken in months and asked me to meet her, to go out…. And that even in the days that followed. According to you why? to recover their friendship with me or because he wanted to see how much "power" he still had over me despite the fact that I was seeing another girl? What do you think? Hi
The answer to Fabrizio's question is not clear-cut.
For her friend there was no difference between recovering the friendship and receiving again the attentions of him, these two needs go hand in hand.
If you think otherwise be careful: you are evaluating from a male perspective of female behavior, it does not make much sense.
And maybe this attitude of hers might seem a bit selfish, but the fact is that many women in certain circumstances are so carried away by their own feelings that they no longer look anyone in the face.
Whether or not you want to judge them for it is your choice, but one thing is for sure: it is important to understand why they act the way they do, and to act accordingly.
Specifically, the fact that a friend is jealous of you is a alarm signal to indicate that you may be a satellite… or … or the exact opposite, rarer case, in which she is your satellite and is jealous because she really likes you.
There is also a third case in which between two friends, who are only friends, they form such a nice and close relationship that she is sometimes jealous of him.
This jealousy is not comparable to the one described above, being much healthier, sympathetic, and absolutely not oppressive. It 'a type of subtle jealousy on which I invite you to joke with your friends, it will be nice because they will realize the apparent absurdity of this feeling of theirs.
You may also be amazed at another type of jealousy, between a man and a man, which I discuss in this article.
In addition, this jealousy can be exploited for seductive purposes on other women, I'll explain how in the next article.
